Default New to the site...

But thoroughly enjoying it! I stumbled across it while surfing the web to get my Dead Space fix/simultaneously procrastinating

My name (as you can see from my icon), is derived from the name of the series that was a big part of my "gaming childhood", Commander Keen. Since Dead Space takes me down (or rather, roughly yanks me down...in a good way of course )memory lane back through all the movies I adored as a kid, I figured I'd keep with the trend of "all things nostalgic" and pick my name accordingly.

I'd like to see this community continue to grow...in the meantime I'll try and continue to do my part by remaining as active as I can!

So...

Hello everyone!

Wow, yeah I remember Commander Keen. Man, that game was the bomb! I think the only computer game I played more than that was Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, or maybe it was one of those Dragonlance series games.

Nice to meet you, stick around

Back in the days when I didn't own any consoles, I think the only game for me that rivaled Commander Keen in terms of playtime was Chex Quest.

I was always too much of a fraidy cat to play Doom, but I was absolutely captivated by it whenever my brother played.

I was a huge fan of scary games but was too afraid to play them . Quite the quandary indeed!
