Here is what I am confused about linking Dead Space Downfall, Dead Space Extraction, and Dead Space ;

Now, In Dead Space: Downfall Alissa Vincent and her team were onboard the USG Ishimura while in the colony all of this havok was breaking lose due to the unleashing on the Necromorphs. Once the necromorphs got into the ship through that mining shuttle her, and her team went down into the hanger to find the members who got in. This now leads to the rest of the movie were Alissa and her team start to decrease in numbers and in the end, leaves it all to her and ending in her death.

But.. In Dead Space Extraction, Downfall was still in progress. Alissa and her team should have found the members of the other's and linked up. How could the other team not know that Alissa and her's are also inside of the ship? They were practicly on the same side of the USG Ishimura and they both were shooting everywhere at the necros. Also, how could the flare be sent out by Alissa when the ship in extraction was just leaving and didnt see her? Both teams had communication through headsets, as seen at the end of Extracion when the HiveMinds tenticle comes out of the ground.

Also in the end of Extraction why did the shuttle not make visible contact with the Kellion?
