I forgot to mention one more odd voice I heard. Just as you start the opening cinema there is a part where Nicole's face appears on the monitor and she does her transmission. Just before this begins, when the screen is listing the mission and character names, a slow metallic voice drowns the phrase: "I lovvvvvvvvved you..."
It is defintatly Nicole's voice and it is odd how right away it gives a clue since it is in past tense.

Hey! I e-mailed this to the address on the site, but I figured I'd put it here as well:
I think I may have some of your Audio Clips figured out. The funny thing is I took two years of Spanish in high school, but I don’t remember any of it, though it is amazing what listening closely and Google can accomplish. Take a listen for yourself and compare what I have with what you hear. If you want to throw them up on your site, I’m cool with it. If you want to give me a nod, just say they came from “sully” You have: Rebecca I hear: Rebecca, sit down. I want to see you soon ‘Becca You have: Yes Olana Spanish: El es un leyenda English: It is a legend. You have: Ziozerosaysay Spanish: So yo zero ce-ce English: Under I zero I say Literal: I am less than nothing (?) You have: “Her name is Sonia Papasal” Spanish: El a me son espapacial English: A is to me ship Literal: This is my ship. Unknown 1 – don’t know Unknown 2 – same as Unknown 5 below Unknown 3 – Can’t hear well enough Unknown 4: Spanish: En es soy afear a vasica la English: In is I am to disfigure the idle Literal: Disfigure the dead. (remove their limbs?) Unknown 5: Spanish: Son espapacial falca no que hora. English: They are spatial ferry not that hour Literal: The ships are not here yet (?) Unknown 6: De su ya dos *moseous* espacial Of its already two __(unknown)____ship Unknown 7 (not Spanish) English: You’re not going this way Unknown 8 Spanish: Valentia permite English: Bravery it allows Literal: I must be brave. (Give me strength. ) Unknown 9: Spanish: En emaciacion y ya English: In emaciation and already Literal: I can’t go on. |

Happy to help. To me, the whispers were one of the coolest aspects to the game. To find out that they actually have meaning... that's just astonishing.
I'm dying to figure out what Unknown 6 is, though. I can definitely hear "De su ya dos ______ espapacial" That would be "Of its already two ______ ships" I can't figure out that one word, though. It sounds like mawseous (like nauseous, but with an m), but there is an awkward pause in the middle making me wonder if it is two words and I'm not hearing it correctly. The closest I can come in Spanish is mausoleo: mausoleum. If that were it, it would say "There are already two mausoleum ships." This would be awesome and make some sense, but it just doesn't sound like the right word in the audio clip. |
